Downtown Family Den

How refreshing it was to enter such a charming little building at the end of a late night flight into Anchorage! I haven’t even tried the cute little coffee shop yet but on my way there momentarily. I stayed in the family den and it’s adorable, with lovely little personal touches of artwork and amenities - and clean! I had a relaxing shower and a cup of tea and a little self care moment of taking off my makeup with one of their makeup towels before snuggling up in the cozy king bed (debated on the bunk bed for old times’ sake). I will definitely be utilizing Salted Roots Base Camp as my go-to whenever I’m required to travel to Anchorage for any reason (I’ll be back again in the next few months!). Will definitely catch an early morning yoga class next time!!! Love the vibe, loved my stay. Nice work! ~Elise

The local art…pottery mugs to drink morning coffee in…The finishes..The thoughtful detail… Interior design that belongs in glossy magazine pages… The welcome gifts..deeply comfortable bed…clean sheets that smell like a bespoke scent... The clear and well written communication…What a place! Salted Roots is a one of a kind stay. You can feel the love and passion that goes into this brand. I am super pleased with my experience - Highly recommend booking.

This accommodation was great!! So close to Downtown, incredibly well priced and very very comfortable. Perfect for a family of four with teenagers. The check in was easy and when something went slightly wrong, there was help to resolve. I’d stay here again anytime and so thankful I’d seen this place on a travel blog.
